“We will not allow any aggression.” Hezbollah: There is no return to what was before March 2
Fady Mahouly
Statement issued by Hezbollah:
Hezbollah congratulates the leadership and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the great achievement of reaching a memorandum of understanding between it and the United States of America, which led to a comprehensive ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. This great achievement came as a result of the legendary steadfastness, exceptional steadfastness, and enormous sacrifices made by the dear Iranian people and their wise leadership, adhering to the national choices that preserve their dignity, sovereignty, and independence.
On this great occasion, Hezbollah extends its greetings and appreciation to His Eminence the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei (may his life be long), who led this stage with unparalleled wisdom, courage, and insight, and to the President of the Republic and the Iranian government, and to the valiant armed forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the army, and the brotherly Iranian people, expressing deep gratitude for their steadfast positions alongside Lebanon, its people, and its resistance, and their insistence that Lebanon be present in any understanding that leads to... To stop the war and preserve its rights, and for this they bear the burdens of the siege and aggression, so that the Islamic Republic once again confirms that it is truly a blessing and a strong and loyal ally.
Hezbollah also extends its salutes to all the countries that participated, contributed, assisted and accompanied the efforts to remove obstacles in order to achieve this agreement, stressing that Lebanon must make better use of this regional and international umbrella to achieve Lebanon’s sovereignty and liberate its land within the framework of internal unity.
We extend our greatest greetings to the people of honour, pride and pride, to the loyal people of the resistance, and to our displaced people, a salute to their patience, endurance and steadfastness, and a salute to their sacrifices and to all that they have offered in the face of this barbaric aggression. They have truly proven that they are a proud people and that they are the most honorable people, as described by the nation’s master martyrs, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Salutes to the leadership of the resistance and its valiant heroic mujahideen, the homeland’s impregnable shield and impenetrable fence, who sacrificed their pure blood and pure sacrifice for the sake of the pride of their homeland and the dignity of their people, and fought heroic epics where the Israeli enemy saw some of their arrows and made them taste the bitterness of defeat.
We affirm that what has been achieved is a prelude to completing the path of complete liberation of our land, the return of our prisoners to their homeland and their families, the return of all the people, especially the people of the confrontation villages on the front edge, to their villages and homes, and the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the aggression. We call on our steadfast people to be patient and wait for the directives of those concerned regarding the safe return to their villages and towns, out of concern for their safety and to avoid any dangers that may result from possible Israeli enemy violations.
The Israeli enemy must understand that there is no return to what was before March 2, and that the resistance, which has been and continues to be a watchful eye on protecting the homeland and its people, will not accept any aggression that violates the sovereignty of its homeland and the blood of its people. The resistance will remain committed to Lebanon's legitimate and established right to defend its land, people and sovereignty until complete withdrawal is achieved and the prisoners are returned.
Hence, we affirm that this stage requires the authority and all Lebanese political forces to return to the unity of the national position to achieve the goals upon which the Lebanese agree, in which lie Lebanon’s interest, and to preserve its sovereignty, strength, and immunity against the ambitions of the Israeli enemy. It is wise to review all the calculations and paths taken by the authority, and to benefit from this experience and the previous experiences that our homeland Lebanon went through, and to stay away from illusions and losing bets, and to acknowledge that the unified Lebanese position and reliance on true friends is the best way to preserve national interests.
